We at Galetes Birba have been baking traditional biscuits since the year 1910.

Our company started out as a family concern in Camprodon, Girona. From the first day, we have been dedicated to baking biscuits of the highest quality. We use only ingredients that are 100% natural, without additives, colouring substances or preservatives.

This was the secret of our success, which has made it possible for us to be the leaders in the traditional biscuits sector in Catalonia.

Some years after, in the decade of the 80s, many changes took place in the market. The food industry and the distribution of products for mass consumption meant we had to face new challenges, but also new opportunities.

This new scenario eventually led us to set up Galetes Camprodon, S.A. We were no longer a family business, but were beginning to undergo a constant process of updating and modernization.

These changes were to affect both the packaging and presentation of our products, and our production processes, facilities and machinery. However, we still continued to manufacture the same high quality biscuits as we had always done.

After all these years of work, we have finally managed to achieve our objective. Our brand of biscuits continues to be the number one brand in Catalonia in terms of tradition and prestige. Today, our organization is run in the most complete and professional way.
